Diving in the UK
While the visibility and temperature around the UK rarely match the conditions found in diving resorts there is still a tremendous variety of exciting, safe diving to be undertaken. In 2007 visibility has been excellent, and on many occasions has been better than the local swimming pool! A dry-suit keeps out the cold, and lets you swim among a family of inquisitive seals on the Farne islands, watch a Lobster or Crab wave its claws at you as you invade its space, or marvel at the power of the sea as you glide over a seemingly impregnable wreck. Every dive is a new experience with unusual features, strange colours and marine life, or intriguing corners to explore, and who knows, you may find an interesting souvenir or two!
