I`m Pat, and I look after our Snorkelling scheme. We provide training at the Hydro Pool every thursday, and you can join my class without becoming a club member .
Snorkelling is a skill that anyone can learn in a few easy lessons, but which can lead to lots of fun and entertainment for many years. By using simple basic equipment of mask, fins and snorkel, you can explore shallow waters, and watch reef life in many areas of the world.
The club has an active snorkelling section, which meet every week at the Hydro pool. We teach basic snorkelling skills to people from eight to eighty, and with the excellent facilities of the Hydro pool can cover all the main snorkelling skills from duck-dives to stride entry.
With all of the equipment available through the club, we can provide a complete training package, and we can also qualify snorkellers using the BSAC Snorkel training scheme as Basic Snorkel divers, Ocean Snorkel Divers and Advanced Snorkel Divers.
Why not come along and join in at the Hydro every Thursday from 8.00pm till 9.00pm. You dont need to be a member and all ages are welcome.
